Выношу свой комментарий к одному закрытому посту.

Кстати, давно хотел поднять тему по мотивам анекдота про морскую свинку. Уже является общим местом та идея, что software engineers нифига не engineers. После попыток чтения PMBOK и подневольного посещения соответствующих курсов я начинаю думать, что software project managers нифига не project managers.

Какие будут мнения?

It looks like you are not an HR manager, my dear. It's pretty obvious that they are specifically trained to inspire employees with false sense of pleasing (for instance by joggling the bases in the conversation) while doing nothing to actually address their thirst.

As to my getting the idea, I'm not sure. What is the third base anyway - touching the skirt? the panties? underneath the panties? inside whatever's underneath the panies? and most importantly - form the front or from the back? and even more most importantly - WITH WHAT?

It looks like you are a software engineer, sweetie. You have to break a general idea into exact details, otherwise you cannot start the implementation. ;)

True said! And I always suspected that all this ado about bases is a theoretical crap without any substance behind it. Is "looking at" equivalent to "laying one's hands on" and to "getting utterly intimate with particular body parts"? And if not, where's the line?
