Это самое бестолковое исполнение Седьмой Малера из всех, что я когда-либо слышал. Не считая, конечно, Светланова – но из светлановского исполнения я к счастью слышал только отрывки.
Сэр Георг Солти меня систематически разочаровывает. Да, кстати todo: надо бы всё-таки прикупить себе "Salty Dog".

Очень правильно замечено, учитывая, что the first movement alone is longer than all but one or two of Mozart's symphonies (33 минуты 20 секунд, ежели быть точным), and Mahler was amazed and somehow horrified by what he had wrought.
