In return I'd hear tales of Vista woe that always ended with reinstallation of Win XP. Probably about 5 people repeated the same story to me, people ranging from my childhood friend to a random ugly old dude from Midwest traveling to Odessa in search for a replacement mail order (well, I guess more like cash and carry) wife. The first wife, he said was on a "five year plan" (i.e. waited to get citizenship and then dumped him). He wasn't as upset about that as he was about Vista though: those five years were "pretty good" — he said.
