The end of year reckoning

Mr. Spolsky once said that a man claiming fifteen years of practical experience in some craft often has only one, just repeated fifteen times over.
This year has made me four or maybe five years older without extorting an unnecessarily onerous cost. Most of the time, I ended up cash flow positive.
In several aspects of my existence, I discovered, to my shame and dismay, how hopelessly inadequate I had been, beyond even what I had imagined, but at the same time a clear path to eventual redemption was shown me, making my hopes finally grounded in something real.
My resolution for next year is to keep the pace and finally make it to twenty one.
I also wish to take an opportunity to say thank you to every one of you, my dear friends.
