Ну наконец-то я дошёл и до Ваймсовского органайзера, о котором меня спрашивала seann. Фрагмент совершенно офигительный, но весь я его копировать не буду из-за его большого размера. Читать его тем не менее рекомендуется всем причастным к нашей богоспасаемой професии, особенно interface designer'ам. Приведу только заключительный ударный гэг.

“I think I'll write it in my notebook, if you don't mind,” said Vimes.

“Oh, well, if you prefer, I can recognize handwriting,” said the imp proudly. “I'm quite advanced.”

Vimes pulled out his notebook and held it up. “Like this?” he said.

The imp squinted for a moment. “Yep,” it said, “That's handwriting, sure enough. Curly bits, spiky bits, all joined together. Yep. Handwriting. I'd recognize it anywhere.”

Ага, у него еще есть иконограф. Там сидит imp и рисует, только вот порошок очень часто кончается.

В машинке, которой снимали движущиеся картинки, сидело целое стадо этих, ну, бесов. Их надо было погонять, чтобы крутили колесо. Этим занимался погонщик бесов.
